Up, up and up.

February 28, 2009

There’s this stupid sickness bug hiding in some corner of our classroom. It’s last target was Bernice. & very soon, more peeepole will be THAT stupid bug’s target.
SO.
We have decided to go ask our school’s auntie and uncles to help us disinfect our classroom!:D

Time passes by really fast.
Just another 2 more weeks and it’s THE MARCH HOLIDAYS.
Stupid time that flies like no one’s business.

End of February so we changed seats yesterday!
THANKS CHUA SI MIN, for being such an awesome partner:D
AILYNN SONG, you are my new desk partner:D
Haha, Wanyi says that we will be like the lamest partner ever.
We shall see(:

FLAG DAY.
Thanks so much, peepole who made it so fun(:
Was with Wentingz and Rebecca(:
I tell you, the ah mas’ and the ah gong’s are such cute people.
There was even one ah gong that went “HEY HEY! COME HERE! I WANT TO DONATE TODAY. LET ME DONATE!”
Then his friends were influenced, so they started donating too.
Probably, Singaporeans aren’t that stingy? They still all have a heart of compassion.

I read this article the other day talking about altruism and if such a thing exist in the hearts of Singapore beings. The conclusion: yes, it does.
This kind of articles really set me thinking a lot. I like it(:

While walking around the HDB void decks, we passed by this coffee shop and I was reminded of my grandpapa.
When I was young and when my grandpapa was still living.
Breakfast there was the norm and grandpapa would always buy those tidbits for me without my grandmama’s acknowledgement, ‘cause she thinks that it’s oh so unhealthy.
Which, I guess, it’s true but my grandpapa dotes on me a lot.

When grandmamma found out that grandpapa gave me tidbits to munch on, hohoho, a tiff ensues.
Just sitting there,
happily eating my big, colourful cracker,

staring inquisitively at grandpapa and grandmamma having that tiff, wondering what words they were blabbering out their mouths and why they can’t just share the joy of eating the cracker with me.
They were still good times and I’m missing them.
How are you up there, yeye?

OH OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM!

I’ve got a lot of grass to eat my meals free. [Gosh, this is the cute-est song lyric I’ve ever heard.LOL.]

A hot(literally)little piggy.

My friend, no matter what happens, you will always be my friend; past, present and the future. Don’t mull over it for too long, it’s just not worth it. “Nothing will ever change so much to the point that we’re not still friends”-inserts my smiley-

Thanks mum, dad, 3 loyalty, simin and esther(she accompanied to the doc) and everyone who wished me to rest well and took care of me ❤ I’ll be fine, don’t worry too much(:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CASSANDRA!

You sleep stealer:o

Friendship.
Something so pure and sincere that exist in our world that when you have it, it brings you deep down; into a valley where we all had great times and matured from our old selves.

Each passing week, the same friendship passes across from my eye. No complications, no selfishness, just a transparent, simple friendship that reflects so clearly on any mirror. Will we be like them too & just probably, I’m not too sure about letting go now.
Not that I don’t want to, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

Don’t stay away.

HOHOHO!
School has been great so far(:
Yesterday, when we got back our Chinese papers, we just started laughing ‘cause we didn’t really know how to react to our marks besides laughing. We are probably that stress.
Math was another blunder. Trust me, I’m totally confused, so the whole morning to whisked past me like that.

“I’m jealous!”
Haha, yuting is so cute! She saw the badge that we bought on my pencil box that said “My valentine gave this to me. Jealous?” She’s really hilarious man.

Today’s lit lesson was really terrible. I guess it was because lit was the second last lesson and I got really tired.
I was super uber duper sleepy!:0
Asked Miss Praba if I could go to the toilet to wash my face and she said “oh yes! Please go! I can see that you were about to sleep-gives the I’m-going-to-kill-you-if-you-sleep-during-my-lesson look. HAHA, so funny.
OHOH! We are suppose to watch some horrifying film since we are working on suspense and tension now. I really don’t know how I’m going to do that without screaming. I will most probably just cover my eyes which OBVIOUSLY defeats the whole purpose.
Haha.

SLP proposal is due this Thursday plus stupid A.Math test that I’m going to die for 😮
JIAYOU!:D

Goodnight, peeeeepole!:D

HAHA.

HAHA.

Eat, pray, love.

Yes, we always bicker but you will forever and ever be the most loved brother, stand strong bro(:

“We are going back for a while,” she whispered. “But you’re staying in your home”

He felt the panic fly up to him.

“My home is with you,” Bill whispered.
“Always. Wherever you are, that’s my home. Okay?”

“Okay Daddy,” she quietly agreed, and they held each other as the chatter went on around them.

I’m having those dreams again and I don’t like the feeling that it’s giving me.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, TOOTS!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUNN YI! [Be sarcastic no more yeah?(:]

Victoria’s Investiture was pretty cool.
Jeanette and Esther, thanks so much for all the fun and laughter. From the time we left school, to the crazy time in the cab and then at VS!
Let’s see, actually we thought that we would be late ‘cause time was really running out. But luckily, the nice cab driver drove us there(:
Walking with heels was TERRIBLE, VERY TERRIBLE! I was walking like a friggin’ duck and Esther and Jeanette kept asking me to walk PROPERLY. Haha.

After the investiture, this 3 victoria school boys came up to us and decided to bring us on some night trail around their school which turned out to be REALLY REALLY scary.

Neway, we made new friends!
Hmm, Herman, Benjamin (Benghost), Avinash from RI and Xuan jie, Rabi, Amrit from VS.
This people are somewhat sadists, ‘cause they like to hear people scream:0 (Reminds me of Kinggshaw.HAHA.)
The night trail was freak-ish kind of freaky. They kept scaring us to the point that I believed that there was some sort of ghostly apparition lurking around.
Talking about this, it reminded me of something.
When I was in P4/P5, I read this horror book (the mild one) and then I got freaked out and couldn’t sleep well for a week, each time I sat on the school bus, I imagine someone grapping my ankle. Sounds exaggerated, but it’s just that. Haha:o

Nonetheless, I had fun and it’s all thanks to you dudes!
WHOO! [We should have taken a picture manz.]

//edited On my way home, my shoes were killing me, so I decided to take them out and walk home barefooted. A gratifying moment(:

Honeystars/Applehead! Hope you recover soon and don’t worry too much yeah? Your team will definitely understand what you are going through. Press on and push on(:

Sometimes we think. Let’s make that an “always” instead.

We think, subconsciously. What food we want to eat, what reply to give to our friends when we talk to them, what is the best way to argue our points with our mum. What thing, something.

Just thinking, what is life all about.

Puzzling, isn’t it?

Why such a thing exist, why the structure of diamond is not the same as silicon carbide, why aren’t there 10 suns in the sky, why people die, why human life evolved, why light doesn’t enter the next medium when it hits it’s critical angle, why are we so fortunate whereas others are fighting for their lives, why oh why, do we think up of so many “why”s.

I’m curious. Curious of the human brain.

No talk, no words, just expressions, just feelings, just emotions, I can tell the whole world how I’m feeling now. Not the brain but probably the heart. The conscience, lying deep down in there.

Showing is one thing, understanding it is another.

Curiosity sparks and our brain starts the cycle of the train of thoughts, analysis of mechanism of small brain cells and then, the fervent desire to just grab that thing, whatever it is, it makes people go crazy.

Heh, so what is life. Tell me, ’cause I’m just wondering, probably finding for the right answer. Maybe too young to find out, but never to early to do so.

Life. It’s this amazing thing.

See, I’m thinking again. Oh yes, I’m thinking why I was stupid enough to take 73 when I was pretty sure it doesn’t head for my house. I ended up walking back for 30 minutes under the silhouette of trees and the big, round moon. How romantic.

Think, think, think. Let’s solve that toughest math problem, crack that hard nut, burn some oil to mug for the never ending tests, give life some hope, some faith and some confidence(:

Ohohoh, Don’t watch the “Psycho” flim, it’s freaky.yeah.

Track of life. Think about it.

Track of life. Think about it.

& so I think again, does this post even make sense? hmm.

Last night, one of my juniors popped me this question.

“What will you not forget?”

My reply was “My family, my friends, sunshine and most importantly, my life(:”

Without life, you won’t be here reading my blog and gaining experiences from this beautiful world. I’m not going to take my life for granted, I’m going to treasure it the way it should be treasured.

Make life beautiful ’cause it is given to all the beautiful humans.

My friends, you do it too(:

This morning’s talk set me thinking.

Yeah, think. Not like I don’t think enough with the HUGEE amount of homework, projects, and tests yada yada.

Yong Hong jie jie, an overseas based reporter, shared her experiences with us about journalism and the big world out there that we might be unknown of.

She told us about the Sichuan earthquake and how she managed her way up there to the site even though circumstances didn’t allow her to do so. The victims, the villagers touched her. Even though, they were in dire straits and they might have lost everything, they were really friendly to Yong Hong jie jie and even asked her to stay at their “houses” for a night.

You know, it’s this feeling.

Although I wasn’t physically there, what I heard from Yong Hong jie jie, made that feeling stir in me. Their families lost, treasured lives lost, houses collapsed, internal turmoil and the longing and yearning for their loved ones to return.

How terrible it must have been for them.

They didn’t cry and wail.

They had that strong resilience to be able to stand up again, to face this tormenting moment in their lives.

They still smiled into the lenses of the camera when Yong Hong jie jie took a picture of them. I saw, and their smiles were much more beautiful. It held faith and believe for them.

What I call a strong personality.

They were dauntless and brave souls. Many volunteered to rescue and find those who were still in the debris. They were working as one whole nation, one whole body. Everyone selflessly did his or her part in finding and helping out.

No one spoke to each other, no one knew the other.

They worked quietly together, rescuing people and deep inside them, they have this common goal-to save lives. It pulled them together and created this indescribable bond. Imagine this, the country in such a state and with the citizens working together and helping one another, just shows how much they care and respect each individual’s life.

100 days after the quake;see his smile.

100 days after the quake;see his smile.

All of this touched me a lot.
This to me must be how human nature should be.
This must be the difference to why we stand out from other living things.
I believe there’s never pure selfishness and evil. It was a catalyst that created the grey area. People are good, naturally. Let’s not change that(:

Mr Professor Sodium Hydride (Nah- our new form teacher) 🙂

On to homework.

TESTS! You killer, okay life’s beautiful so are tests(:

Ionic bond, covalent bonding, bond of chem. and me= chemistry?

I doubt so.

Wahahaha, good day!

Just a little.

Look, Look! The beautiful board.

Look, Look! The beautiful board.

A piece of very good news: There’s nothing on tomorrow, no tests, no datelines to meet, no anything. WHOO!
Okay, but I still have to rush out the SLP proposal>< It’s alright, it seems to be going on rather well so far(: My group members have been really supportive, thanks peeeopole!

Giraffe has been really nice this few days.
Although, I broke her stylus, I still got to thank her for not getting pissed with me. She gave me a pack of chocs the next day and I felt more guilty luh.
HOHO, I tried to repair the stylus but even the process of repairing it got me into trouble. Me, the trouble maker and my itchy fingers. TAY QI HONG, SORRY!

Sitting with Simin has been great. She’s say I’m weird and crazy. TSK(: She’s another person crazy over Jrock. Woah.

Mynah juniors are super funny. Esther and I went to the guides house with the sec ones to get their uniform and other stuffie. The journey there was funny manz. We will jiayou for MYNAH and let it outshine(:

Happy Birthday, Hillary! (sorry, for the one day late birthday wish:p)

It wasn’t just 6 stripes. I tore them down and I was reminded.

Laugh over this!

  1. A fellow teacher assigned his year four student to write a topic sentence for the following sentences:

Sam always works quietly
Sam is polite to the teacher
Sam always does his homework

Student’s topic sentence: I hate Sam.

2.  A woman wakes up and tells her husband, “I dreamt that you gave me a beautiful pearl necklace for our annivasary. What do you think it means?”

“You will know tonight,” he replies with a smile.
That evening, the man comes home with a small package and gives it to his wife.
Delighted, she opens it. Inside, is a book entitled “The meaning of dreams”.

Aline’s weird and an insane freak. okay, she’s not weird and insane, she’s N-I-C-E(:
