hello.
today’s golf wasn’t up to standard! not at ALL! I was so disappointed with myself. The ball was going all so haywire and it didn’t land in my ideal range of distance:(
After golf, while papa and I were on our way home, I suddenly got REALLY CURIOUS!!(: I was just wondering why the moon follows us when we are in a moving car, and papa was telling me that it’s because of some kind of human visual perception. Then, I continued asking him about why some people are smarter than others and why OH why do people have different IQ levels. “If people do not have different IQ levels, then ALL OF US will be robots!” I think it makes a lot of sense.
“Being smart doesn’t mean that one will be successful in life. You don’t have to be smart but if you have the ability to lead and have good leadership qualities, you can use this to harness the smart people, without the leader being smart himself. Smart people are just people who absorb things faster than others. That’s all. If you think you are not intelligent, and you find it unfair, then think about those who have low IQ (below average) at birth. Compared to them, you are WAY BETTER and more FORTUNATE than them. Being smart isn’t Everything in LIFE, there’s much more to LIFE.
But at the end of the day, CONFIDENCE is the key. If you don’t believe in yourself, you can never achieve great things in life.” these was what papa told me and I find them really true and relevant to everyone’s lives. Yours, mine and ours(:
I haven’t been practicing piano for the past few days and I feel guilty.gah. Everytime when I go for piano lessons, scales will NEVER turn out alright. Basically, it’s because of the lack of practice and during the holidays I’m so gonna compensate for all those missed practices. I have too!><
Tomorrow’s Vesak day so there’s no school!! I don’t seem really excited about it… All of a sudden, It just seems pretty weird that I am actually given a chance to take a break. But still, I had better enjoy it now, before I can’t get to do so and I think that’s coming REAL SOON!!lol.
